acre Artarmon opening September 2020

acre Artarmon is a stunning farm-food inspired bakery, café, bar restaurant and functions space run by the team behind acre Eatery (Camperdown) and acre farm & eatery (Melbourne).

Set within sprawling indoor and outdoor productive gardens, adjacent to HomeHQ Artarmon, the open-air oasis encourages guests to wander through, touching, smelling and viewing the growing produce.

acre Artarmon will feature local and exotic fruit trees, a kitchen garden, vertical plantings and hydroponic growing systems, a large greenhouse-style function space, planted pergolas with strawberries and bougainvillea, picnic style areas, kids’ playground, chicken coop and composting.

Fresh herbs, flowers and fruit grown onsite will be used to produce delicious artisan bakery products; café, restaurant, weddings & events menus; homemade pizzas, garden-inspired cocktails and friendly beverages.

acre Artarmon aims to engage, educate and inspire people to talk about sustainability through offering unique experiences from guided tours, chefs’ demonstrations, long table lunches, meet-the-maker tastings, twilight gardening, produce markets, kid’s programs and more.

The venue is designed by Emilie Delalande of Etic, the interior designer behind Barangaroo House, and ex-team leader at Akin Atelier for Coogee Pavilion.

We hope that with its sprawling outdoor, open-air, and spacious areas, combined with new and exciting food and agritourism experiences, acre Artarmon will offer a place to connect and reconnect for us all. We are looking forward to September 2020 when we join the Lower North Shore community next to Home HQ Artarmon, continuing to provide warm hospitality in more natural environments.”

Starting next week, a large crane will be erected on site to carry in the main steel pieces for the new build.  As a result of this, the access from Reserve Road will be temporarily closed until 12th June.  Vehicle access to our Centre will be via Frederick Street only. 

Home HQ Artarmon is OPEN and trading as normal during the development period which will continue until 3rd Quarter of 2020.

As a result of the development, we are closing the top deck carpark permanently from Monday 11th May.

Customers will still be able to drive in directly from Reserve Road and down into the red level carpark to access the Centre.  We have 3 levels of internal carparking (red, blue and yellow) which will remain open during the construction period.  The best entrance to use is via Frederick Street.  Pedestrian access remains as per normal.

(Please note the maximum height for the carpark is 2.3m)

 

Home HQ Artarmon is changing

In early 2020, Home HQ Artarmon will be undertaking a redevelopment of its Reserve Rd car park and bringing to life a vision that will entice and excite the community. Partnering with acre, an emerging food and beverage operator, you will see a dramatic, yet complimentary offering established that will provide our local community with a destination to celebrate, or enjoy a quick bite, whilst picking up that missing piece for your newly styled home.
