From rescue to family
For Laura’s family, adoption transformed their lives.
Buster, a giant yet gentle Bull Arab cross, brought Laura comfort during a tough time and became her loyal companion. While Raspberry, a spirited tabby cat, was chosen by Laura’s daughter Lola and the two were quickly inseparable.
‘When you give an animal a second chance at a happy and loving home, you can really tell how grateful they are,’ Laura says. ‘And sometimes, as much as you’re rescuing them, they often end up rescuing you too.’
Now, Buster, Raspberry and the family share a bond that proves rescue pets don’t just need a home – they make a home.
